It's Day 9 of Beer Advent (and Day 2 of Beer Hanukkah). Still no word from Tony. I guess I'll post again. It's late, and I spent too much time trying to do a second consecutive cartoon. So, this will be short.
Today's beer was 3 Floyd's Slapasaurus Double IPA. I loved it. It wasn't murky, it had a nice, clean, post-IBU wars bitterness for structure and balance. And it was kicking around some serious citrus, candied orange peel, and just a touch of old school pine. My real beef was with the can...
It implies T-Rex played the bass. Not true.

As you can see, T-Rex plays the guitar. Velociraptor is on bass, because as we all know bass players generally have a screw loose. And Stegosaurus is a Charlie Watts, couldn't-be-fucked-to-look-at-the-camera-or-pretend-like-he's-playing, drummer. And he chain smokes and drinks too much because he's a trained jazz drummer but is stuck in a rock band with these other two uncultured bozos.
I think Tony is back tomorrow. Maybe he'll draw a cartoon for you.
